Job Responsibilities Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth medical history assessments. Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results. Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans for patients. Provide vital intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and assisting with surgical instrument transfers during operations. Deliver top-notch pre-and post-operative care, which encompasses medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education initiatives. Educational Requirements
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Preferred completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practice. Certifications
Current and unrestricted
PA-C
certification. BLS
and
ACLS
certifications are mandatory. State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant. Essential Skills
