JOB SUMMARY : The Sycamores Program Manager for our CIRCLE Program is a management-level position responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the overall program, human and financial resources associated with our agency CIRCLE program.

Sycamores is a contracted provider with The City of Los Angeles, Mayor's Office of Community Safety, to operate the CIRCLE program, which stands for Crisis and Incident Response through Community-led Engagement, throughout the San Fernando Valley. This is a 24/7 unarmed response program that deploys trained teams to address non-urgent LAPD calls related to unhoused individuals.

CIRCLE aims to create positive outcomes for unhoused individuals through rapport-building and connections to services and provide LAPD officers more time to focus on traditional law enforcement efforts. For consumers that are evaluated to need more intensive and immediate support, CIRCLE is integrated with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH) network of Field Intervention Teams (FIT), which is the County's behavioral health crisis responder system served by Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams (MCOT) and Psychiatric Mobile Response Teams (PMRT), who can provide an in person assessment to determine if psychiatric hospitalization is necessary.

This position will be involved in all areas of recruiting, hiring, and supervising employees, utilizing data, forecasting, planning, and organizing program structures and processes to ensure efficient operations and sound outcomes, and developing, monitoring, and evaluating revenue and expenses to ensure effective operations. This position will be called on, to work collaboratively with other Managers as well as with Executive level staff and outside stakeholders. The Program Manager will be available for consultation during and following crisis calls, as needed, as well as to fill in when back up is needed in the field.

Starting Pay Range:

$80,000 - $85,000 per year for Full-Time employment (starting pay will be based on previous work experience and educational background.)

Shift Schedule:

Sunday - Thursday 10:30 am - 6:30 pm

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent (minimum of 4 years' experience in health services related field) or Master's degree in related field preferred. 2-3 years of supervisory experience and/or managerial experience preferred. 2 years' experience working with unhoused populations preferred. Experience with outreach services and street canvassing. Preferred experience with mobile crisis or unarmed response. Knowledge and experience working in the framework of a Whole Person Care approach with knowledge of the integration of physical health, mental health, and substance use. Maintains all required licenses and certifications. Valid California Driver License and a driving record acceptable to the Agency's insurance carrier.
