Sr. Software Engineer (Fullstack, AWS)

Insight Global is looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with advanced expertise in building full-stack applications leveraging AWS/React/NodeJS. A key component of this role is also to build the CI/CD pipelines using services/tools like AWS CodeBuild/Code Deploy, AWS CDK, etc. needed to deploy full-stack applications in the cloud environment. This role involves implementing technology solutions that enhance business decision-making and processes across all business units, in alignment with the architectural roadmap and enterprise goals. The Senior Software Engineer will engage in a broad range of tasks related to the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and applications. Responsibilities include enabling collaboration, automation, and efficiency in the development of cloud-based micro frontend applications, thereby facilitating the rapid delivery of high-quality software and services to customers. The hourly pay rate for this role is $55-75/hr and based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience • Expertise building CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipeline leveraging AWS CDK and/or Terraform. • Expertise building CloudFormation Templates • Expertise building AWS Lambda and automating deployments using above CI/CD pipeline. • Expertise with BOTH Python & TypeScript programming languages • Expertise building and deploying backend APIs leveraging AWS APIGateway • Expertise with AWS DynamoDB • Expertise building front-end leveraging ReactJS • Strong understanding of core AWS Services including S3, IAM • Strong understanding of AWS Networking including VPCs, VPC Endpoints, Subnets, ENIs, SGs etc.
