A dynamic and growing anesthesia practice in the Rockford, Illinois area is seeking a skilled and dedicated
General Anesthesiologist
to join its collaborative team. This role offers the chance to provide anesthesia care for a broad range of surgical and medical procedures, working closely with surgeons, CRNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
The successful candidate will spend approximately 75% of their time supervising CRNAs, providing clinical guidance, and ensuring quality care throughout each procedure. This is an excellent opportunity for board-eligible or board-certified anesthesiologists, including recent graduates, to build a rewarding career in a supportive environment.
Compensation and Benefits: Competitive
salary of $550,000 annually Generous
$100,000 sign-on bonus Seven weeks of vacation

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Employer contributions to a

health insurance coverage , including malpractice insurance One-year partnership. Key Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing a variety of surgical and medical procedures Provide basic health care and medical treatments to ensure patient safety before, during, and after surgery Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed throughout procedures Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and other team members to support seamless patient care Supervise CRNAs, maintaining high standards of anesthesia practice and patient safety Requirements:
Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) Experience with regional anesthesia techniques and blocks preferred Illinois medical license is a plus but not required at the time of application Residents completing training are encouraged to apply
