Counselor Supervisor for Detention Center

DescriptionCompassionate Counselor Supervisor Needed!Position Overview:The Counselor Supervisorwill supervise the Counselors and Counselor Interns who provide treatment and casework services to patients in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and with BayMark’'spolicies and procedures. The counselor supervisor will ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care. Must identify other physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs for assigned patients. Responsibilities:Assigns counselors’ caseloads, amends when necessaryConducts quality assurance file reviewsDirect and supervise all intake operationsEnsure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patientsEnsures accurate and current clinical records are maintained in accordance with Federal and State Regulations governing NTP clinicsMaintain counseling caseloadProvide direct supervision to clinicians as well as assist in the ongoing supervision of staff through meetings, in-service training’s, guest speakers and reviewing literatureActs as Treatment Center Director when he/she is absentOther related duties as determined by supervisorQualifications:Must have current CAC-AD, LCPC, LCSWLCADC as a Counselor at The Professional Board of Counselors & Therapist State of Maryland. Must have supervisory letter.Must have prior supervisory experience, be self-motivated and directed.Must have previous experience working with chemically dependent individual.
