Job Description
The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role involves working collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure high-quality patient care and safety throughout the surgical process.
Responsibilities
Assessing patient needs, developing nursing care plans, and implementing interventions during surgical procedures. Maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring compliance with safety standards in the operating room. Monitoring patient vitals and responding to changes in condition. Administering medications and managing anesthesia as per protocol. Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Nurse. Current BLS certification is required. Must hold a valid Washington state nursing license or compact license. Ability to float within the skill set as needed. Previous experience with specific surgical procedures preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
