Senior Power Platform Developer
position to support our customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
The Senior Power Platform Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform. This position requires advanced technical expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, with a strong focus on scalability, performance optimization, and enterprise integration.
Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable applications in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) with responsive design, component reuse, and performance optimization. Architect Dataverse schema including calculated fields, rollup columns, relationships, and security roles. Build complex workflows in Power Automate including orchestration, parallel branching, error handling, and REST API/SQL/SharePoint integration. Integrate advanced analytics via Power BI, including embedded reports, DAX optimization, and role-based access. Implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Power Platform Pipelines for CI/CD. Develop custom connectors and HTTP actions for integration with third-party services and legacy systems. Build reusable UI components using the PowerApps Component Framework (PCF). Lead environment governance including DLP policies, solution layering, and environment variables. Tune performance across Power Platform components, addressing delegation limits, connector throttling, and service capacity. Produce technical artifacts including design documents, ERDs, flow diagrams, and user guides. Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and security teams to ensure complete solution delivery. Leverage PowerShell and CLI tools for environment management and automation. Minimum Requirements
8-10 years of experience in software development or business application design, including 5 years with Microsoft Power Platform. Bachelor's degree preferred, 4+ additional years of relevant experience can be used in lieu of a degree Microsoft Power Platform Developer (PL-400) certification (required). Additional certifications such as PL-600 (Solution Architect) strongly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in enterprise-scale Power Platform development. Minimum of an active DoD
Secret
clearance required. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered.
