Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will work primarily with adult patients, including geriatric populations, in a fast-paced environment. The position guarantees either 36 or 48 weekly hours, accommodating preferences upon submission.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Room. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records using MediTech EHR. Handle emergency situations with professionalism and composure. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility. MUST have Iowa SING background check clearance. Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult required. Current certifications in BLS (AHA), ACLS, and TNCC. Successful completion of a 10-panel drug test, including opiates. Current titers for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB within the last 12 months.
