Schedule: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $19.50

Are you passionate about supporting youth in a structured, therapeutic environment? As a Residential Youth Specialist at our Boy's Home, you will provide afternoon and evening supervision and care to adolescent male residents. Your role is essential in helping youth navigate their daily routines, build positive relationships, and work toward their treatment goals.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support male residents during afternoon and evening routines; Encourage positive peer interactions and participation in program activities; Respond to crises using nonviolent crisis prevention intervention (CPI) techniques when necessary; Maintain safe, structured, and nurturing environment; Document observations, incidents, and resident progress accurately; Participate in team meetings and provide updates on resident behavior and progress; Assist with transitions such as mealtimes, study periods, and bedtime preparations; Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent; Minimum of one year of experience working with youth or in child welfare; Prior experience in a residential or overnight care setting preferred; Strong communication skills and ability to remain alert and responsive overnight; Ability to serve as a positive role model and maintain professional boundaries; Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of confidentiality; Must be reliable with time sensitive deadlines and tasks; Must be able to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team; Computer skillssufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of MicrosoftOffice suite; Must be able to pass required medical examinations and have the physical ability to fulfill the essential job functions, including physical restraints of a resident; Successfully pass an annual TB test and document preference to receive or decline Hepatitis immunization; Must be 21 years old with a valid driver'slicense with at least 3 years driving experience to operate a vehicle on behalfof Bethany. Must also pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain areliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage; Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries; Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Commitment to Unity.
