Job Description Travel Respiratory Therapists are needed for 13-week contracts to start ASAP in a facility in South Dakota. 2 years of experience required. Certifications needed are RRT and BLS. 12 HR D/N, day and night rotating shifts. 36 HR with every other weekend and holidays. These needs/rates are to address the current COVID-19 staffing shortages. 2 weeks notice to cancel can be given. May be working full time in COVID special care unit and float out to other units. Unit Details

Unit Description 1.General job duties. Types of procedures required. Nebulizers/inhalers, volurex, oxygen therapy/titration, protocols, airway clearance, trach changes, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, overnight oximetry. 2.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) One Chart, Accudose medication dispensing system, Avea Ventilators, Hamilton Ventilators, V-60 BiPAP, SiPAP, Oscillator 3100A & B, Jet Vent, metaneb, Aerogen, 3.Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2 years experience, Adult, Pediatric and/or Neonatal critical care is a plus. 4.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) RRT & BLS 5.Three 12-hour shifts per week (overtime may be available), No call required. It will be rotating day/night shifts. Most shifts will be day shift. Managers may request employee to work an occasional night shift. 6.Floating to over units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) We prefer someone who is able to work in one critical care area. RT's work in all all areas of the hospital including ER, critical care and general nursing floors. Two days of orientation:
