About This Role:
Under limited supervision, the
Material Mixer
maintains a supply of material to all molding machines. Also maintains molded components and purchased parts inventory accuracy. Is responsible for additional Molding and inventory control tasks within the manufacturing floor.

Essential Job Functions/Tasks:
Completes all functions of a Material Handler I as and when needed. Uses MRP Software to transfer, track, and reorder inventory to support production and molding with molded components, vendor parts, and resin. Mixes base materials and colorants accurately to support various molding builds Operates and monitors automated mixing systems for correct recipes. Manages re-grind quantities (weight) for inventory and production use. Monitors dryer functionality and efficiency by maintaining filter replacement and cleaning for material changeovers. Always keeps mold machine hoppers and bins full of the correct materials. Uses JDE (Enterprise One) to transfer, track, and reorder resin inventory to support molding operations. Operates regrind system. Labels all resin types accurately to avoid contamination. Adheres to Scrap procedures to document, transact, and scrap non-conforming molded and F/G parts. Completes reports and conduct audits as assigned (cycle counts). Assists in training new Material Handlers and Machine Operators. Moves or delivers materials to designated areas using various equipment such as Fork-Lifts, Pallet Jacks, and Carts, using safe work practices. Education/Training Required and Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must successfully pass the Senninger forklift training. Experience Required and Preferred:
Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control and/or molding gained in a manufacturing environment. What You Bring:
Verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to comprehend work instructions. Understanding of machines and tools, including their uses and maintenance. Ability to work within a team environment and demonstrate professional behavior. Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations. Requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks. Ability to perform data entry, view electronic procedures, or pass training courses. A willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges. Ability to use either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes (not including computers or vehicles). Ability to conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. Knowledge of and ability to use arithmetic. Must be able to accurately perform intermediate mathematical and statistical calculations and use a weight counting scale. Excellent problem-solving skills and detail orientation. Strong interpersonal skills. Experience in cycle counting and conducting physical inventories. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications preferred. What We Offer:

The hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $17.80 to $20.00
