Description: Internal Job Title: Sr. Electrification Engineer Location: Hybrid-3 days a week at the office.

*US citizens only. *Top Requirements: Vehicle electrification experience, even if they have only done some small bits of component integration. Integration of high voltage components within a vehicle Electro hydraulic pump integration (or something similar) ny experience with vehicle electrification is what we are looking for. Not looking for people that have had or done component development, those people generally are not well suited for what they do. (They are more circuit board, where we need someone who can look at the entire vehicle).

utomotive High Voltage experience: we do a lot of integration of high voltage components within the vehicle, a defense application, could be anything from fuel economy, integrating weapons, integrating payloads, weapon systems, etc...

Selling point: We get a chance to work on many different vehicles, many different products, and different applications.

The Sr Engineer - Electrification designs functional, reliable and cost-effective heavy-duty vehicle high voltage electrical systems. Performs engineering analysis and electrical design or re-design, and development of electrical systems and subsystems into existing and new vehicles. Provides integration and execution support for vehicle control and embedded systems development.

YOUR IMPACT:

Under supervision, perform engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned according to Oshkosh as well as general industry engineering standards and processes. Support more senior engineers in the preparation of plans, designs, computation methods, and/or reporting. Responsible for a project or part of a project of limited complexity. May be responsible for managing multiple projects. Collaborate as needed with other engineering or business support disciplines internally as well as suppliers externally. Provide guidance or mentorship to entry level engineers, designers, or technicians working on a common project. Responsible for design and integration of electrical components and circuitry into heavy duty vehicles. Support more senior engineers in the preparation of accurate calculations, analysis and investigation according to Oshkosh as well as general industry engineering standards and processes. Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot or production builds, including resolution of problems in manufacturing. Participate in one or more projects of limited complexity. May be responsible for managing multiple projects. Collaborate as needed with other engineering or business support disciplines internally as well as suppliers externally. Provide guidance or mentorship to entry level engineers, designers, or technicians working on a common project. Other duties as assigned. Regular attendance is required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

ccredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with three (3) or more years of related experience. STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

ccredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Familiarity with programming languages and controls software. Familiarity with Controller Area Network (CAN)/SAE J1939 protocol. utomotive High Voltage Training/Certification(s). Power Electronics and Machines familiarity. Energy Storage system familiarity.
