Material Handler

As
Material Handler,
you will facilitate a smoothly running warehouse environment by ensuring that productive processes, procedures, and methods are utilized. You will ensure the receipt, shipping, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse and ensure that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities.
Job Responsibilities
Unloading received deliveries and placing in directed rack locations
Picking and packaging materials for shipment
Loading outbound trucks
Movement of materials throughout the facility to support manufacturing, receiving, and shipping
Maintain a safe, clean warehouse work environment
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
GED or High School Diploma
At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehousing environment
Experience operating a scanner
ERP system knowledge preferred
Ability to maintain a safe, clean warehouse work environment
Ability to procure OSHA certification and forklift license
Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing and pulling, driving, sitting, and lifting.
Working Conditions:
Material Handlers will be in a metal fabrication and warehouse environment. This position is at our distribution center in Columbia, SC.
