Director of Admissions
to join our team!
As the
Director of Admissions,
you will be responsible for providing high quality care for the residents and facilitating clinical leadership and mentorship with the residents and staff.
Earn Up To $60,000 per year
Eligible employees can earn an additional
$1.50/hour
if waiving the insurance benefit!
Position Summary
The
Director of Admission s is responsible for coordinating all skilled nursing and personal care admissions.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with background in geriatrics/long term care Bachelor's degree in related field Minimum five years management experience (Director of Admissions) Excellent communication and public relations skills Excellent time management and organization skills Commitment to serving the senior population in a progressive health care environment Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains occupancy and case mix goals and supports other Concordia facilities by making appropriate referrals. Communicates with the Director of Case Management to manage resident/patient costs prior to admission (pharmaceutical and DME) utilizing knowledge of Medicare PPS and Medical Assistance Case Mix. Director of Admissions
Reviews referrals, screens for appropriate placement within the facility, and manages all waiting list and pre-admission information regarding resident needs in a centralized database. Supervises the Assistant
Director of Admissions
and the Admission Coordinator.
