Certs: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, NY state license MUST be in hand prior to submitting
Patient Diagnoses: May be asked to perform the occasional EKG after hours in support of the Cardiology Dept. May be asked to provide care to COVID 19 populations. Ability to work alone and adapt to a changing care climate when needed.
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Fully functional 24/7 in-house Respiratory therapy department with care areas and responsibilities encompassing 6 bed ICU, ER, M/S, PEDS and low volume newborn stabilization. Working alone or in conjunction with a second therapist, the CPH RT will be charged with ensuring proficiency and compassion at the bedside of primarily the adult population, but should be comfortable with all ages as they may be responsible for newborn (Stabilization prior to transport) and pediatric care. Routine medication delivery through invasive and noninvasive ventilator management as assigned with a myriad of patient diagnosis being seen.
