ER RN Job Details – Springfield, MA

• Location: Springfield, MA 01199 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Unit: Emergency Room (ER) / Level 1 Trauma Center
• Duration: 13-week travel contract (options for 26 weeks or 48-hour assignments)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratios: 1:5 to 1:6
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100-$2250

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts RN license preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) or ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
• Strong clinical skills in critical care and emergency nursing
• Ability to manage complex and unstable patients in a fast-paced ER environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to a diverse population, including trauma, behavioral health, and critically ill patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and changing patient conditions
• Accurately document all patient care activities in a timely manner
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills in a large, dynamic emergency room setting
