ER RN Job Details

• Location: Oak Bluffs, MA (02557) – Martha\u2019s Vineyard healthcare jobs in a unique coastal setting
• Assignment Type: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Unit: Emergency Care / Emergency Department (ED)
• Start Dates: Multiple start dates available: 9/29/2025, 10/13/2025, 11/3/2025
• Duration: 16-week travel nursing contract
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020
• Housing: Shared housing provided (no pets or guests; own transportation required)

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with Emergency Room specialty (ER RN)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current influenza vaccine required
• Ability to complete all onboarding requirements: background checks, health screenings (MMR, TB, Fit Test, Health Statement), and skills checklist
• Submission of professional references and resume required
• Must comply with facility housing agreement and policies

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and implement emergency interventions for diverse populations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document all patient care activities in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Maintain adherence to all hospital policies, procedures, and clinical best practices
