Are you a compassionate and skilled RN looking to make a change and have a meaningful impact in the lives of students? Join our team as a School Nurse (RN), where you'll be a vital part of promoting health, safety, and wellness across multiple campuses in the Hutchinson community.

• About the Role:
  
  

As a School RN, you’ll be the frontline of student health, providing expert care and support in a dynamic school environment. You’ll float between campuses, responding to medical needs, supporting chronic conditions, and collaborating with families, staff, and healthcare providers to ensure every student thrives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care in school health offices
• Respond to medical emergencies and severe health needs
• Support students with chronic conditions and emotional well-being
• Serve as a liaison between families, school staff, and healthcare providers
• Provide classroom support as needed
• What You’ll Need:
• Current RN license in Kansas or compact license
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• School Nurse Certification (as required by state or contract)
• 1+ year of experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or public health (preferred)
• CPR certification
• TB screening and current health certificate (as required)
• Must be 18+ and meet all federal, state, and local requirements

This is a floating position—you’ll be traveling between schools in the district, assisting students in health offices and responding to emergencies. If you’re adaptable, proactive, and passionate about student care, we’d love to meet you!
