Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a corrections setting. This role involves working in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to provide routine and emergency health care in a correctional facility.

Base pay range

Responsibilities

• The Correctional RN works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensure the well-being of the incarcerated population.
• Addresses the specific challenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing care to the patient population.
• Provides both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facility setting.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience (preferred)
• Current CPR, if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray, if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have at least 1 year of RN corrections experience

Shift

6am-8pm M-F, with weekend and holiday hours; hours range from 6am-4:30pm.
