Travel Nursing Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1740–$1860
• On Call: Monday–Friday 7 PM–10 PM & weekend rotation 7 PM–7 AM
• Floating: Required across all campuses (Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran Hospital)
• Scrubs: Navy blue, solids

Dialysis RN Qualifications

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of dialysis nursing experience, including inpatient dialysis
• Experience with Fresenius 2008T dialysis machines
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Recent experience with telemetry and ICU dialysis patients (AKI, ESRD)
• No first-time travelers
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year
• One supervisory performance evaluation/reference from the last 2 years

Dialysis Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective dialysis treatments to a diverse inpatient population, including remote telemetry and ICU patients
• Manage patient ratios of 2:1 in units with 5 beds (IMMC) and 2 beds (ILH)
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Float between campuses as needed to support patient care
• Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical documentation
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
