ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Greenville, NC 27834 (Float between ECU Medical Center & Duplin Hospital)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• End Date: November 25, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: Level 1 Trauma, Enterprise Central Staffing Pool
• Employment Type: Travel nursing job
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960 per week

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Ability to float between inpatient units of skill level and below
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Float between ICU, intermediate, and general inpatient units as needed
• Maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios (ICU 1:2, Intermediate 1:4-5, General 1:5-7)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Accurately document all patient care activities in a timely manner
• Adapt quickly to new hospital environments and protocols
