Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens – Homer, Alaska. This 13-week travel nursing assignment places you in a clinic/outpatient setting, where you can make an impact while experiencing the scenic community of Homer.

• Setting: Clinic/Outpatient – Registered Nurse
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Charting System: EPIC electronic health record (EHR)

Estimated Weekly Salary

• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2100–$2250

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license; Alaska RN license preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient or clinic nursing experience
• Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in an outpatient clinic environment
• Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and assist with clinical procedures
• Document all patient care activities using the EPIC EHR system
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, health maintenance, and preventive care
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for patients and staff
