Position Summary

As an Outside Sales Representative , you will drive sales growth by building and maintaining strong customer relationships, promoting our products and services, and identifying new opportunities within your assigned territory. This role requires a motivated self-starter with a passion for foodservice, a knack for communication, and a talent for closing sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, contact, and develop relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Promote and sell a full line of company products and services.
  • Travel throughout your assigned territory to conduct in-person customer visits.
  • Provide pricing, product updates, and marketing materials to customers.
  • Track and report on customer interactions, sales activity, and account status weekly.
  • Maintain organized files for all accounts in your territory to support forecasting.
  • Gather and report on competitor activity and industry trends.
  • Ensure all sales materials and product displays reflect company brand and image.
  • Assist with other duties as needed.

What You Bring to the Table

Required:

  • Associate’s degree or higher.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on the road.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

  • Prior sales experience in foodservice distribution (paper, dry, refrigerated, and frozen foods).

Work Environment
