The Project Manager will manage projects focused on supply chain management, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) operations. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution : Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for initiatives involving supply chain optimization, ERP implementations, EDI integrations, and 3PL partnerships.
  • Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, IT, finance, and external vendors, to align project goals with business objectives.
  • ERP Implementation : Oversee the deployment or upgrade of ERP systems, ensuring alignment with supply chain needs and minimal disruption to operations.
  • EDI Coordination : Manage the setup, testing, and maintenance of EDI systems to ensure accurate and efficient data exchange between internal systems and external partners.
  • 3PL Collaboration : Work closely with third-party logistics providers to streamline warehousing, transportation, and distribution processes, ensuring performance metrics are met.
  • Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency through process improvements, technology integrations, or vendor optimizations.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience : 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years focused on supply chain, ERP systems, EDI, and/or 3PL operations.

Technical Skills :

  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong understanding of EDI standards and tools (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
  • Familiarity with 3PL processes, including warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).

Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of supply chain logistics, procurement, inventory management, and regulatory requirements.
