Rate:

  1. $100K- $150K (based on experience)

Location:

  1. Position Location: Fully Onsite Mon- Fri in Santa Monica – Open to relocation assistance for the right candidate

Job Description:

We're seeking a print designer who can transform trends, concepts, and licensed assets into elevated prints. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with fresh creative approaches, translating briefs into bar-raising artwork that delights customers and drives business growth.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze seasonal trends, color schemes, and patterns to develop artwork.
  • Produce trend and mood boards and present ideas to cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize archived or purchased prints, or create original designs using various techniques.
  • Design repeat and engineered patterns tailored to specific products and fabrics.
  • Modify prints for different materials and product applications across various categories.
  • Generate colorway variations based on seasonal palettes and brand guidelines.
  • Support Print Manager to archive and input approved artworks into our PLM system.
  • Partner with product designers, developers, and licensors to ensure designs meet technical requirements and brand guidelines.
  • Support Print Manager with artwork assortment, deck creation, product mock-ups.
  • Work closely with print technician to facilitate production and ensure quality control.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of design experience
  • An available online portfolio
  • Experience working with agile development teams (agile/scrum/kanban)
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite applications, with high proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat using macOS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with e-commerce, search, social media platforms, and other major application types along with their UX patterns
  • Experience creating services and applications with multiple user touchpoints on different platforms and devices
