Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Urology Physician to work locum shifts in Altoona, Pennsylvania (PA) Starting in December or as soon as credentialed, the role offers ongoing work each month with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Urology role:
- Location: Altoona, PA
- Trauma Level: III
Schedule:
Clinic Details:
- One week per month: Monday 8:00 AM - Friday 5:00 PM
- Light outpatient clinic (approx. 15-25 patients/day)
- 24/7 call coverage during scheduled week
- APPs available during the day for rounding and consults
Call Details:
- Call volume: 1-4 calls per night (varies)
- Response time: 30 minutes
- APPs handle most inpatient consults; MD support as needed
EMR: EPIC
Requirements of the Urology role:
- PA State License active & unrestricted, or IMLC LOQ (In-Hand)
- Board Certified-Urology
- BLS, ACLS, & DEA
- Minimum 2 years of experience
