Join our dynamic team at a respected healthcare facility in Richmond, Virginia, as a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist. This position offers a great mix of inpatient, outpatient, and clinic practices, providing comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients. Our team is currently seeking additional support due to recruitment needs, with a favorable call ratio and a collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide clinical care in inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings.
- Manage a caseload averaging 10 clinic patients and 12-15 inpatient admissions daily.
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.
- Supervise and collaborate with 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).
- Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and related cardiology procedures.
- Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient management.
- Board Certified in Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology.
- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) certification.
- Completion of AHF Fellowship with LVAD experience.
- Local providers preferred, with only mileage reimbursement.
- Active Virginia medical license.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current DEA registration.
