We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This opportunity begins on Oct 27, 2025, and spans a 65-day contract, offering full-time day shifts from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. The provider will work in a correctional environment, conducting sick calls, daily infirmary rounds, restricted housing unit rounds, physicals, consults, charting, and acute care management. Corrections experience is a plus, and a valid PA license with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct sick call evaluations and manage acute care cases such as cold, cough, flu, sutures, and splinting
- Perform daily infirmary rounds in the morning
- Conduct restricted housing unit rounds once per week
- Perform physicals, emergency consults, and admissions consults
- Complete charting and review of EMR queue
- Review laboratory and x-ray results
Additional Information
- Active PA Nurse Practitioner license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Corrections experience is a plus
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
