- Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Nurse Practitioner
- Schedule: 8am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Walk-in hours 9:00am-9:30am; scheduled student appointments 1:00pm-3:30pm; emergencies may occur between 9:00am and 4:30pm.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Diagnose and treat common conditions such as cold and flu, yeast infections, asthma, diabetes, sinus infections, urinary tract infections, and other infections
- Address occasional cases such as lice, scabies, and minor wound care (rashes, burns, rare liquid sutures)
- Prescribe antibiotics and coordinate referrals as needed
- Communicate with students' primary care providers when appropriate
- Stand by for ambulance transfer in the event of extensive or emergency cases
- Collaborate with office administrative staff
- Ensure proper handling and turnaround of lab work
Additional Information
- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in New Hampshire
- Required board certification: Family Medicine
- Experience with college-aged and adolescent populations preferred
- Independent practice expected as no medical assistant support is available
