Locums - NP/PA Cardiovascular Surgery
Location: Dothan, Alabama
Position Type: 24-Hour Call Coverage Only
License: Active AL or Compact State License Accepted Key Details
- Specialty: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - Cardiovascular Surgery
- Call Coverage Only: No clinic or office hours
- Call Type: Beeper call (30-minute response time required)
- Dates Needed: October 17-27 (7a-7a)
- EMR: Cerner
- Patients per Shift: 3-5
- Beds in Facility: 12
- Assigned Rounding Patients: Yes
- Daily inpatient rounding (2-3 hours/day) on post-op CV surgery patients
- First assist in scheduled and emergency CV surgical procedures
- Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) required - Terumo EVH system used
- RNFA preferred
- Must have prior surgical experience
- License: Active Alabama license or Compact license - REQUIRED
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS - REQUIRED
- Experience: Must have surgical experience; RNFA preferred
- EVH Skill: Required (Terumo system)
