Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join an expanding Family Medicine practice located in Venice, Florida .

Venice is located in Sarasota County. With 14 miles of beaches, Venice offers plentiful shopping, family-friendly saltwater adventures and Old Florida charm. Venice was named a Top Five Suburb for City-Like living and is one of USA Today s 10 Best Must-Visit Beaches in the South.

Founded in 1925, Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is a regional medical center offering Southwest Florida s greatest breadth and depth of care, with more than 2,000 physicians and advanced practice providers and nearly 2 million patient visits a year across its network of care. As Sarasota County s largest employer , the health system includes two full-service hospitals in Sarasota and Venice, a freestanding ER in North Port and Lakewood Ranch, and a comprehensive network of outpatient centers, urgent care clinics and physician practices that stretch from Bradenton to North Port.

Position Highlights:

• Join a well-established team of 4 Family Medicine Physicians
• Full-time, clinic-based position
• No call coverage, no evenings, and no weekend hours
• Convenient single office location
• Monday through Friday schedule, 7:15 AM 4:30 PM
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine experience preferred

Requirements:

• Current AANP/ANCC or NCCPA certification required and must also have an active license by the State of Florida by the time of hire.
