We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a 72-day locum tenens assignment in New York. Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide acute and rehabilitative care for patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems
  • Deliver direct care to patients with stomas, wounds, fistulas, drains, pressure ulcers, tubes, and incontinence
  • Serve as an educator, consultant, and researcher for wound care practices
  • Guide optimal patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Care for patients with complex and intractable wounds resulting from various causes
  • Support outreach, psychological, and spiritual services for patients and families

Additional Information
  • Must have a minimum of two years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
  • Required board certification: Wound Care
  • Must hold a current DEA certification
  • Experience with inpatient wound care or long-term acute care required
