Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

CareNational is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a retail clinic assignment in Cedar Grove, NJ . This is a 18-week contract role with training provided and the opportunity to support multiple clinic locations.

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a retail clinic setting
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients following clinical standards of care
Support continuity of care through referrals, patient education, and care coordination
Participate in training, team huddles, and clinic operations as assigned
Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Work flexible shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends, based on clinic hours
Qualifications
Master s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification
Active and unrestricted state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in New Jersey
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in primary care, family medicine, or retail/urgent care preferred
Active DEA registration (required at time of offer acceptance)
Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills
Experience managing chronic disease conditions preferred
Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by start date (with exemption allowances)
