As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), you will play a critical role in the care and treatment of patients with complex cardiac and vascular conditions. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialized nursing care, monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with cardiovascular conditions, including monitoring vital signs, assessing cardiac rhythms, and evaluating responses to treatment. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to established protocols and ensuring accurate documentation. Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, such as EKGs, cardiac output, and arterial pressure, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition. Provide emotional support, education, and counseling to patients and their families, helping them understand their conditions and treatment plans. Collaborate with the healthcare team, including cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, respiratory therapists, and other specialists, to develop and implement individualized care plans. Operate and troubleshoot complex medical equipment, including ventilators, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and continuous renal replacement therapy machines. Maintain a sterile and safe environment for patients undergoing invasive procedures or surgery. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care discussions and planning. Assist in emergency situations, such as code blue responses, by providing advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and other critical care interventions. Document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner. Stay current with the latest advancements in cardiovascular nursing and attend continuing education programs as required. Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be licensed to work in MT (Montana is a compact state). Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but not required. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required. If willing to obtain certs prior to start, can still submit with this noted. Minimum of 2 years recent experience in field. Strong knowledge of cardiovascular conditions, treatments, and interventions. Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits:
