Computed Tomography Technologist Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures according to established protocols and guidelines. You will operate CT scanning equipment, schedule procedures, ensure patient comfort and safety, and report test completion to Radiologists. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential in delivering exceptional patient care. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in radiologic technology, with certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) License from the State of Texas, and The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Radiography R.T. (R) and Computed Tomography (CT). Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality computed tomography procedures according to established protocols and guidelines. Operate CT scanning equipment and maintain optimal performance. Schedule procedures and manage patient flow efficiently. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination process. Report test completion to Radiologists and communicate results effectively. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. Certifications in BLS, MRT License from the State of Texas, and ARRT Certification in Radiography R.T. (R) and Computed Tomography (CT). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in CT scanning or radiologic technology. Knowledge of radiology software and equipment. Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
