New Mexico Donor Services is a designated organ procurement organization (OPO) within the state of New Mexico – and is a member of the DCI Donor Services family. Our unique approach to service allows for nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while maintaining close ties to our local communities. DCI Donor Services operates three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations: We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank. Our performance is measured by the way we serve donor families and recipients. With the help of our employee-led strategy team, we will ensure that all communities feel welcome and safe with us because we are a model for fairness, belonging, and forward thinking. Coordinates the Tissue Recovery Procurement Process including communication with hospitals and funeral homes, packaging, and shipping. Leads recovery team efforts of donated cadaveric human tissue including bone, skin, corneas, blood vessels, nerves, and heart valves. Serves as a resource and advisor to internal team members for completing recovery. Participates in the tissue recovery and donor restoration as appropriate. Maintains compliance with regulatory accreditation agencies and internal quality processes. Travel and on-call duties will be required. Bachelor's degree preferred, CTBS/EBAA certification desired. ~2+ years experience in the medical field. ~ Two Medical Plans (your choice of a PPO or HDHP), Dental, and Vision Coverage ~Company provided term life, AD&D, and long-term disability insurance ~ Supplemental insurance benefits such as accident coverage and short-term disability ~ Discounts on home/auto/renter/pet insurance ~ Cell phone discounts through Verizon ~ Cell phone stipend
