We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious

OSP CDL Driver/Laborer

to join our Outside Plant (OSP) construction team. This dual-role position involves operating CDL-class vehicles to transport materials and equipment to job sites, as well as performing physical labor to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications infrastructure (fiber optic and/or copper). The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with a strong work ethic, knowledge of DOT regulations, and a willingness to work in various outdoor conditions. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Driving Duties (CDL Class A/B): Operate commercial vehicles (bucket trucks, reel trailers, flatbeds, etc.) safely and in compliance with DOT regulations. Transport equipment, reels, and construction materials to and from job sites. Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete pre/post-trip reports. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly. Ensure load security and proper tie-down procedures. Laborer Duties: Assist with installation of fiber optic and copper cable in aerial, underground, and direct-buried environments. Dig trenches, set handholes/pedestals, place conduit and pull fiber. Use hand tools, power tools, and operate small machinery (e.g., mini excavators, trenchers). Maintain a safe work environment by following company safety policies and OSHA standards. Work in varying weather conditions and confined spaces when required. Minimum Qualifications: Valid

CDL Class A or B

license with a clean driving record. High School diploma or GED. 1+ year of experience in construction, utilities, or telecommunications (OSP preferred). Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. Knowledge of DOT regulations and basic vehicle maintenance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fiber or copper cable installation (aerial or underground). Flagging and/or traffic control experience/certification. OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus. Ability to read construction prints and follow work orders. Work Conditions: Outdoor field work in various weather conditions. Occasional overtime, night shifts, and weekend work may be required.
