Description: Job Title:
Quality Assurance Inspector I Job Summary: Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products and recording quality results. Essential Job Functions: Interpret and understand drawings and schematics (i.e. customer supplied, internal documentation, etc.). Approve in-process production by conducting visual and measurement tests and confirming results follow specifications. Approve finished products, by conducting visual and measurement tests and confirming results follow specifications. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs. Summarizing re-work and waste, inputting data into quality database. Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions calling for repairs. Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures. Complying with legal regulations. Maintain quality standards and communicate those standards when necessary. Write non-conformance reports (NCR) on rejected product and communicate the NCR to the proper department(s). Use high voltage test equipment to test the product. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience working with aerospace wiring harnesses preferred Requires strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with all departments. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
