Travel Job Description:
36 bed adult surgical unit that cares primarily for trauma patients and acute care surgical patients. This is a very busy unit where rehabilitating and supporting our patients needs is our highest priority. The most common diagnosis on the unit; Traumas including: spinal cord injuries(new quadriplegics and paraplegics), traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic injuries occurring as a result of a trauma. Acute Care Surgical diagnosis: hernia repair, small bowel obstructions, appendectomy, cholecystectomy.
LNA ratios to patients 1:12 RN Patient ratios: days: 1:4 nights 1:5
Required Experience: Chest tubes Tubes Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients Trachs/Laryngectomies Telemetry Complex wounds Central Lines- care and maintenance and blood draws
NH RN License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required) BLS
13 weeks with possible extension Shifts: 12 Hours Rotating Experience required: 1.5 years of RN-Med surg Location: Lebanon, NH Pay package:
