PrideStaff, a national staffing company, is seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist to work with our clients. The Receptionist will work in a fast paced environment and must be friendly , articulate and have at least 6 months of recent administrative or receptionist experience. c
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm Occasional Saturdays if needed
- Pay Rate: $17.00 Per Hour.
- Serve as Lobby Receptionist, greeting customers with a polite and friendly demeanor.
- Serve as the first contact point and answer incoming calls. This will include, but is not limited to, customer calls, vendor calls, sales calls, etc. Demonstrate courtesy, friendliness, promptness, and expertise in answering telephone calls, identifying needs and directing to proper channels.
- Serve as a Customer Service Representative on a per need basis. Provide information and answer customer questions to the best of your ability.
- Be familiar with, and competent in, utilizing the main Telephone answering station, and other provided hardware and software systems in order to provide accurate information and service to the Customer Base.
- Perform routine recordkeeping duties as defined by the Customer Service Department and other departments.
- Keep informed and up to date on Office policies and procedures.
- Watch for and report any unusual or prohibitive activity to Management. This may include, but is not limited to, vandalism, theft, sexual harassment.
- Assist in opening mail when needed.
- Assist Upper Management as necessary.
- Assess difficult situations and respond to customer issues; escalate situations that require assistance to a Customer Service Representative and/or Management.
- Must be able to maintain punctuality and attendance, with unpaid absences not exceeding 3 or more work days in one year.
- Must abide by the Dress Code Policy and dress in a professional manner so as to best represent to the customer base.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
- Must have availability to work flexible schedules including any days of the week, with hours varying between 7:00 am- 8:00 pm
- Provide courteous, professional, and informed assistance to the Customer Base.
- Deal tactfully with the Customer Base and effectively resolve issues, solutions, and concerns.
- Correctly interpret, explain, and apply applications and offerings to the Customer Base.
- Determine the nature of the customer call and relay appropriate information both via the office systems and verbally.
- Communicate with a variety of individuals, not limited to the Customer Base, from various socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
- Handle and follow through on large volume telephone inquiries and issues on busy days.
- Respond to the call volume and understand how to shorten talk time and minimize waiting time so that Customer can be helped and/or directed to the Team Member who can help them as quickly as possible.
- Work independently with minimum supervision.
- Be aware and act upon an issue that requires escalation.
- Exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and have the ability to make appropriate decisions.
- Use software and common software such as e-mail, word processing, etc.
- Use office equipment, such as telephone, copier, fax machine, printer, etc.
- Be an optimistic person who is not easily upset and who naturally likes working with others within the organization and without.
- Be results-orientated and able to work both independently and efficiently. Must be able to get along with co-workers.
- Establish and maintain effective and appropriate working relationships with employees ("Team Members") and vendors utilized by .
- Recognize safety hazards, property damage, malfunctions, policy and procedure violations and report to the appropriate management personnel.
- Must demonstrate dependability.
- Must have the ability to work various shifts, including weekends.
- Must be available to work overtime when required.
- Must have reliable transportation to be able to report to workstation on time for scheduled work shifts.
- Must be able to read, understand and adhere to the Team Member Handbook.
- High school diploma or GED, some college preferred, or equivalent work experience.
