Summary

• Accounting Clerk is responsible for generating accounting data into NAV system, communicate with other departments or venders to maintain accurate information for financial purpose.
• To be successful in this role, you will need to have general understanding of accounting such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general journals, bank reconciles and you must be a detail oriented.
• Objective of the Accounting Clerk is to establish accurate and organized financial data on daily bases.
• Reporting supervisor to maintain and improve operation of the Accounting Department.

Essential Functions

• Daily entry of sales invoices into NAV AR system
• Daily entry of vendor invoices in NAV AP system
• Issue urgent checks as requested and process payment journals
• Temporary workers' and manpower allocation and entry
• Daily entry of expense transactions including but not limited to equipment lease and credit card transaction
• Life Insurance/Health Insurance allocation and entry
• Verify and confirm entries interfaced through operation system.
• Communicate with operation and other divisions/offices as needed
• Communicate with customers as needed
• Handle and keep track of account balance
• Misc. other jobs such as filing, mailing and so on
• Maintains financial files securely, organize and dispose.
• Keeps track of the account balances in the system, find the reason and correct any discrepancy.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Accounting Field is preferred
• Required Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Accounting Field
• Required Skills: Excellent written and verbal communications, Proficient in windows applications and systems including NAV, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quick learner, Teamwork oriented
• Required Language: English
