The Application Architect will serve as a key technical leader, providing architectural guidance, integration expertise, and implementation oversight for enterprise applications. This individual will not only review and design system architectures but also ensure successful integration of applications across platforms and oversee end-to-end implementation of enterprise solutions.
The ideal candidate will come from a hands-on technical background, with the ability to actively guide development teams, troubleshoot issues, and validate that organizational and industry standards are being followed.
This role requires close collaboration with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to drive the design, integration, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide architectural direction and technical leadership for enterprise applications.
- Review current and new systems to ensure standards and best practices are consistently applied.
- Lead and validate system integration across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
- Oversee end-to-end solution implementation, from design through deployment, ensuring successful delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, recommend, and implement application modernization strategies.
- Ensure application security, compliance, and performance meet enterprise and regulatory standards.
Integration & Implementation Experience (Highly Critical):
- Proven track record leading enterprise application integration projects across multiple platforms (cloud, on-prem, hybrid).
- Strong experience in end-to-end solution implementation including design, build, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Ability to bridge business requirements with technical solutions during integration and implementation efforts.
- Experience with modern .NET development (version 6 or later).
- Strong background in deploying software to public cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and private data centers (Windows/Linux VMs).
- Proficiency with DevOps platforms, automation, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, etc.).
- Experience with SDLC, deployment methodologies, QA processes, and performance tuning.
- Recent experience leading the technical design and integration of distributed systems or other complex enterprise projects.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience delivering enterprise customer-facing solutions.
- Minimum of 6 years designing and building enterprise-class distributed systems.
- Minimum of 6 years in highly regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).
- Prior experience in Child Services / Children Administration systems and programs is required.
- Strong background working with State, Local, and Education (SLED) clients.
- Experience supporting Federal Government (FED) projects or agencies.
- Familiarity with government compliance, procurement, and regulatory standards.
- Prior experience in highly regulated sectors such as finance, pensions, healthcare, or government systems.
- Architect-level certifications in one or more technical disciplines (Windows, Linux, Cloud, Networking, Security).
- Experience with large-scale enterprise application integration programs (ERP, CRM, pension/benefits systems, or financial platforms).
