About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service and Sales team member to join our close-knit team at The Kimberley General Store in Kununurra, WA. As a part-time or full-time team member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our thriving local store.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering friendly and knowledgeable customer service to our diverse range of customers
• Assisting customers with product selection, answering queries, and processing sales transactions
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and visually appealing retail environment
• Restocking and replenishing merchandise as needed
• Collaborating with the team to achieve daily and weekly sales targets
• Providing feedback and suggestions to improve the customer experience

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer service or sales-focused role, preferably in the retail industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds
• A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends
