We are actively seeking a dynamic admissions professional who will recruit and enroll students in our online and graduate programs. This new position underscores our dedication to meeting the needs of today's expanding adult-learner and distance-education population. This individual builds relationships with prospective students, provides program information and guidance, and manages the admissions pipeline from inquiry to enrollment. This role requires a disciplined approach to conducting on-going communication and follow-up with prospective students and current applicants.
The Recruiter is responsible for providing prospective students with program information, admission requirements, application deadlines, as well as collecting supplemental documents from those who have applied, while verifying that applicants meet all program requirements. This individual must provide exceptional service to all prospective students and applicants, and must also build strong relationships with faculty, staff, and all those stakeholders involved in serving our students.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Student Recruitment & Relationship Management
- Identifies and cultivates prospective students through a variety of channels (email, phone, social media, webinars, campus events).
- Builds and maintains relationships with prospects, applicants, and key influencers to support enrollment goals.
- Delivers high-quality, student-centered service throughout the recruitment process.
- Communicates clearly and persuasively in writing, over the phone, and in person.
- Conducts individual consultations, group presentations, and webinars to inform prospective students about programs and admissions processes.
- Tailors messages to resonate with adult learners, working professionals, and other nontraditional students.
- Maintains expert knowledge of the University's graduate and online offerings, admissions requirements, tuition, and financial aid options.
- Provides individualized guidance to prospective students regarding program fit, prerequisites, and career outcomes.
- Collaborates with faculty and academic staff to stay current on curriculum changes and student support resources.
- Utilizes CRM and recruitment platforms (e.g., Recruiter) to manage inquiries, track interactions, and produce reports.
- Coordinates and executes digital marketing campaigns, social media outreach, and email communications to nurture leads.
- Plans and hosts recruitment events, both virtual and in-person.
- Manages a recruitment pipeline, from inquiry to application to enrollment, meeting or exceeding established targets.
- Addresses prospective students' concerns and objections effectively and ethically.
- Contributes to data-driven enrollment strategies through regular reporting of conversion metrics and trends.
- Provide timely follow-up and accurate information to prospective students.
- Assists applicants in navigating admissions processes, including transcript collection and online readiness resources.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple recruitment initiatives simultaneously.
- Maintains meticulous records and ensures data integrity within recruitment systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required. Masters preferred.
- Three - five years (3-5) of experience in student recruitment, admissions, sales, customer service or a closely related field.
- Demonstration of a high level of energy and drive, and an entrepreneurial spirit are required.
- Attention to detail, ability to work in fast-paced environment and competitive industry are necessary.
- Proven proficiency with CRM and/or student information systems, as well as other technical platforms.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed. Some on-campus presence will be required.
- Experience recruiting graduate or online students
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and strategies
- Knowledge of higher education admissions best practices.
