Job Title: Software Engineer - Cell DIVE
Location: Onsite- Client, WA 98006
Duration: 7months W2 contract with high possibility of extension based on performance and business needs
Pay Rate: $85.85/hr on W2
Job Summary
s a Software Engineer for Cell DIVE, you will work with a small development team responsible for creating, expanding, and supporting the existing codebase using WPF/WCF and C#.
What You'll Do:
• Develop .NET C# WPF/WCF software used in the image acquisition and post-processing steps of biological fluorescent imaging workflows.
• Support existing code fixing defects looking for opportunities to refactor and optimize.
• Support tech debt discussions and implementation.
• Work with image acquisition systems including capture, manipulation, and optimization of image data.
• Help the team to improve the technical quality of their work through regular technical design and code reviews.
• Participate in an Agile environment contributing to the entire SDLC process.

Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Major
- None specified
- Minimum of 5 years of Software Development experience architecting and maintaining thin/thick clients and APIs
- Strong technical contributor with a proven track record of using expertise to help the team
- Extensive experience with WCF, WPF, MVVM, MEF
- Extensive experience with .NET, .NET Core, C#, Visual Studio
- Willingness to work onsite at Client, W
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems (SVN, git, GitHub, SourceTree, etc.)
- Experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio development environment
- Initiative to experiment with new software frameworks
- Demonstrates ability to creatively find solutions
- Contributes to the team and works independently
