Overview Client : Best Buy Location : Onsite 2-3 days per week in Minn MN This position requires experience with IBM MQ and IBM Ace, helping application teams with integrations, and being on call as needed to triage and fix issues. It entails end-to-end responsibility of IBM MQ and IBM Ace as a platform, from infrastructure to triage, support, and everything in between. Responsibilities Install technology and fix issues within the tech stack; focus on upkeep of existing infrastructure and setting up the tech stack in full. Everything is automated using scripting (Ansible, Terraform). Lead the data transport team with middleware integrations for messaging within Best Buy, primarily IBM MQ, Informatica, Kafka, Rabbit MQ, and migrating to AWS cloud, including related messaging technologies. Team structure: Onshore & offshore mix. Every 6th week the person is responsible for on-call rotation and must interact with other teams to resolve issues quickly; strong communication skills are essential. Skills Overview IBM MQ & IBM ACE: 5 - 7 years Infrastructure provisioning tools such as Chef or Ansible or Terraform: 1 - 2 years AWS SQS / SNS: 1 - 2 years AWS Amazon MQ (Active MQ or Rabbit MQ): 1 - 2 years Kafka (Self Managed or Cloud native): 0 - 2 years RabbitMQ (Self Managed): 0 - 2 years Informatica Power Center & Data Quality Infrastructure & Technology administration: 0 - 2 years Preferred / Nice to Have AWS Cloud experience Exposure to Infrastructure as code Good communication skills and a team player Open to On call rotations for supporting the platforms #J-18808-Ljbffr
