Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by the state or local jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role within construction electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automated control systems.
- Familiarity with green building standards and energy-efficient electrical systems.
- Certification in OSHA safety standards or equivalent safety training.
- Experience using electrical estimating software and project management tools.
- Lead and supervise a team of electricians and apprentices on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems including wiring, lighting, control systems, and power distribution.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to schedule work and resolve any technical issues that arise during construction.
- Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Train and mentor junior electricians, fostering skill development and promoting a culture of safety and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and any modifications to original plans.
