What You'll Do:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components in locomotives, including motors, generators, and air-conditioning units.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and replace electrical parts using schematics and blueprints.
- Follow all company and industry safety rules to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist management with inventory and equipment upkeep.
- Travel as needed (up to 30%) to support locomotive repair and service.
What You'll Need:
- GED or high school diploma (required).
- Mechanical or electrical experience preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
