Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Position Overview:
Express Employment of Rancho Cucamonga is seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist . The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in unionized environments and possess a solid background in HR operations, compliance, and employee relations. This role requires proficiency with Workday HR software and the ability to support day-to-day HR functions while ensuring alignment with company policies and labor agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support HR functions including employee relations, performance management, and labor relations.
• Serve as a liaison with union representatives, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
• Utilize Workday to manage employee records, HR transactions, and reporting.
• Assist in policy interpretation and implementation across departments.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Partner with leadership to drive a positive and productive workplace culture.

Qualifications:

• Required:
  
  
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Human Resources experience, with union environment exposure.
  • Proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor relations, and employment law.
• Preferred:
  
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • SHRM Certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
