Consult Liaison Psychiatrist

The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences in the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is seeking a full-time faculty, ABPN certified Consultation-Liaison psychiatrist to direct the consultation service for University Hospital. University Hospital is a Level 1 trauma center that is the hub for South Texas. It offers the full range of medical surgical services and includes an inpatient psychiatry unit. The newly opened Women and Children's hospital is attached and directly adjacent. The psychiatry consultation service is an active teaching service staffed by residents and serving medical students and other learners. The service is also supported by a nurse practitioner and other faculty. We seek an academically minded clinician-educator to lead this critical patient care and education site.
